And we're back!

Life has gotten completely CRAZY in the last 2 years! We have added a new family member, Vincent "Nolan" , born 4 days before Marshall's 2nd b-day. I have had 8 private pre-screenings of movies, Hubby is back at his old department on motor's, Bray is going into 9th grade with earning NJHS induction, Harper is headed to 2nd grade and had many awards including one for reading on a really high level and "Amazing Art", Marshall is 100% boy and ready to take on the world, as long as he has the right outfit on and his hair done.

Brent and I are celebrating 8 years together , apart :( He traveled to ATX with Marshall for a rodeo this AM. I will be joining him with all the kids this coming week.  We are planning an exciting vaction for just the two of us here in a couple of weeks! I am SO excited!!! I will take a ton of pictures and give my review of our excursions and resort upon arriving back.  This will be our first trip alone, and not pregnant, in 7 years. We have not traveled alone since right after having Harper, and then once when 7 months pregnant with Marshall! We are both looking forward to this trip more than words could express. It has been a little rough around the homefront with life throwing us a few obsticles.
Until next time my friends!

catching up....

It has been ages since I last posted on any of my blogs, and I have decided to cram everything I've been doing into one post here at TheWrightMomma

We have added a few additions to the family since 2011. One of them being another son, named Nolan, and the other being a Bengal Cat, named Moody. My pregnancy with #4 was extremely difficult. I was put on bed rest very early in my pregnancy following back to back hospital stays. I had an illness that was made more public by Princess Kate, hyperemesis. It causes debilitating sickness and extreme weight loss. My body was fighting me the entire time, but I had a perfect growing baby inside so it was all worth it in the end. To top it off, I actually made it full term, with the help from weekly 17-P shots by my home nurse! Once the little man arrived I thought that life would just get "back to normal." Boy was I mistaken. Adding that extra person, extra body to get dressed, one more nursing, change 2 diapers (Marshall had just turned 2), and even move with any urgency post C-section w/ complication was near impossible. Once Christmas past we finally got into the grove of things and began back up with routine of the "new normal."
It has been crazy busy for each family member in their own accord. Hubs has been extremely busy with working with his family's company and at the PD. Another MC Rodeo went off with raving success in April. Traveling a few times throughout the year to go to Motor Rodeo's throughout the country, and vacationing at the beach, San Francisco and Napa, and soon to head to Tennessee before school starts.
The kids are growing up so fast and  getting so big and smart!

#1 is entering the 8th, is in full teenager mode (*joy*), has become an even better big brother than every imaginable and growing into such a handsome young man!

#2 is going into the 1st grade (tear), has been taking horse back riding lessons (quite the avid cowgirl I might add), too stinking smart and "miss politically correct", the sweetest and most loving little girl while at the same time one of the sassiest! She is a spitting image of myself at that age!

#3 is every bit of BOY! M keeps us on our toes and always laughing, has a gentle yet wild spirit and so full of life and energy! He went to his first year of pre-school this past year and did so great! Still loves to stay home with momma so we are only going to do 2 days a week again!

#4 is our little chubs! He has the calmest disposition and so sweet. Butter ball from head to toe and a momma's boy!

Labor Day weekend Christian Concert

I am extremely proud to say that my husband organized a Christian Concert with chart topping artist Sidewalk Prophets and Among the Thirsty! We had the amazing opportunity to share the day with these guys and get to know them a little bit "outside" of their job. All of the gentlemen were extremely humble and a pleasure to be around. The kiddos had a great time and thought that they were top dogs for getting to hang out "with those band guys" as Harper kept calling them.

Among the Thirsty went on first after a long hot day of "Battle for Christ" with bands from all over the country. Below are a few shots of them performing and the hubs and I later that night.

Sidewalk Prophets Followed Among the Thirsty and let me say My babies have made a few new friends. Harper was super excited that someone knew her Noah's Ark songs and would get "awkward" with her! Thanks to Dave and Ben for being so awesome with the kiddos. Dave also became Marshall's new favorite person that day as well!

We would personally like to thank both Bands for coming out on such a hot and windy day to help spread God's word to the community. I know everyone who was in attendance took something more from that day than they came with.

School is Out!

Summer has begun and the kids already "bored" with nothing to do. We have created "activity jars" to pull from each week. Everyday we will pull 1 thing (note this is only the days braydon is with us <everyother 4 days>)
We have a jar full of FREE things to do around town, a jar for places to eat, and a jar of places to go that cost money. We have the pool here at home and passes to Legoland so we will be able to go do those whenever but we thought of adding in a sixflaggs/hurricane harbor combo to add into the "free things to give us more options!

Taking a few short road trips to the beach, friends in Alexandria, and as always Frankston! I hope to be able to post our outings and adventures as well as our projects we will do over the summer! Im starting with my office upstairs in which i have all of my crafting supplies and storage sitting everywhere. I will put together the storage units that Ive had since 2010 and get everything organized!

HOpe everyone is having a great summer! Stay cool!
